== Delicately Carved Greenstone Pendant Hatchling ==
A master perhaps puts out only one true masterpiece in his life, a work of flawless design and workmanship. Carved out of the finest greenstone, the delicate limbs of this green are nothing but the most perfect cut, the perfect size for each other and the perfect shading. Even finding the right stone would be hard; but somehow the perfect deep, and yet ever so clear and flawless greenstone has been found to form the flanks of this young green, with seamless movement into a lighter, clearer, and yet still such a deep green for her neck and wedge. Down her tail the colours move darker and darker still, until the greens are so dark that you’d think you’d never be able to see through it, and yet somehow you can. As the green moves down under her belly it forms a seamless alliance of gold and green — as if the chain of this perfectly worked pendant — that swirls together and then parts — as if it had never been together at all — moving back up to the seamless greenstone of before. A slight movement, and the darkest green yet is shown on her outstretched wing sails, so dark it seems black — until she shifts again, and the light filters through — a definite contrast to her golden hued talons.

Delicately Carved Greenstone Pendant Hatchling gathers much strength from the reassurance provided by dam and sire. Boldly now, she lumbers across the sands, her mind reaching out, searching, calling for that special one whom she will soon claim as her own. Despite the customary awkwardness afforded to hatchlings, she carries herself with a sense of grace and regality, certainly a reflection of her dam in this aspect. She scrutinizes the passing faces and rocking bodies…she suddenly pauses, kicking up more sand. She has made a connection….wings unfurling in a ‘crinkle’ as sand spills from its former lodging. Eyes gaze placatingly into those of Aschela and a sweet and melodic croon trickles from her maw, the bond now sealed.
