''The motions of the Dusty Russet Egg come to an abrupt halt. The egg sits for a moment, its sudden stillness obvious among the others rocking nearby. With a loud rending tear, the Dusty Russet Egg shatters, flakes of shell raining down on the dragonet emerging from within.''

== Craggy Cliff Brown Hatchling ==
Like the gentle giant that he is, this young brown dragon sits quietly, contemplating his surroundings with a bit of suprise. His movements are slow, methodical, calculated, as if he’s considering the circumstances of every move he makes long before he makes it. His knobbly knees and elbows give him a deceptively craggy appearance, but he’s far from ungainly. His colouration is predominantly light brownish-grey, giving way to patches of orange like lichenous growth on rocks. Swathes of buff and cream tones shade across his wingsails like the strata of the exposed cliff faces. In his youth he seems all limbs and tail, overly large wings splayed out for balance, but he’s sure to grow into his size and prove to be more than worthy of his place at Fort Weyr.
