	For some years after her Impression, the thought of a transfer had been discussed, mainly in passing, by the senior Weyrwoman, but it wasn't until much later, for reasons primarily unbenownst to Leah, that Igen decided on extending a friendly, mutual proposal to High Reaches: an exchange of juniors, at the request of Nimae, for training purposes. Was Ezalea willing? For a few months, perhaps time beyond that, should things prove mutually beneficial. The goldrider, pleased at the thought of transferring to the Weyr to which her family hold looked, jumped at the opportunity. 		+	Ezalea is native to Balen, a small sea hold which looks to the Reaches, although she has not lived at the hold for over ten years. She was Searched to Igen in a time when the threat of Thread was still fresh: it was the holder's duty to accept such an offer, and no one truly expected skinny little tomboy Eza, only daughter of the family, to Impress. And when news worked its way home that she /had/ Impressed, to a gold nonetheless, her family accepted her new fate with what grace they could. It was an honour, truly. Wasn't it?

		+	So a long decade passed, and the Thread of the Comet Pass came and went: Ezalea and Nahalith learned to work together, an effective if slightly peculiar pairing, surely, and the young queen even rose to birth her own clutches, and Leah came to settle into her new home as a naturalized Igenite. She adopted their style of dress eagerly, took to the heat a little less eagerly, although, as with all things, she learned to simply smile and suffer through it under the public eye and keep her complaints to herself and nearer and dearer friends. Her experience as a junior unfolded, based in what she had been harper-trained for years, and, building upon that knowledge she found herself rather enjoying the hidework that came with the position.
