==Dynamics==

Hailstorm is a difficult wing to manage, chock full of in-fighting and sharp, divided loyalties. It seems to forever be splitting and reforming into opposing forces, and whenever people transfer into the wing they are soon caught up in the politics. It is almost impossible to stay neutral and only B'ren has proven himself to be able to handle the difficult wing as a whole time and time again.

When faced with a common enemy, Hailstorm bands together, offering a strong mix of experience, daring, and selfless sacrifice. There is nothing they won't do and they are a talented precision team: fast, accurate, strict, ruthless and brutal, they always get the job done one way or another. They also take a lot of damage and there are few of them whose dragons do not bear the scars. Diplomacy is not their strong point and they've been known to cause a few incidents in the past that has caused the leadership to ban them from visiting certain areas.

In the last fall of the Comet Pass, toward the end of turn 16, Hailstorm was one of the first wings sent to face Thread; they suffered severe losses.

It's well known that B'ren has ambitions towards the Weyrleadership.
