|log=It seems that most of the Weyr has already written-off one of Elaruth and Bijedth’s eggs, leaving nine to do the usual betting about. The disregarded egg is the smallest of the clutch, pale and has spent most of its time so far buried deeper in the sand than the others. If it /does/ hatch… Well, people are suggesting that it would be kinder if it didn’t. Given that Elaruth has not paid any particular attention to one egg over the others, nobody has (yet) been foolish enough to place marks on there being a gold.
