+|log=Spring is in the air, and that means gather season, with the first of the spring gathers already planned. While riders and residents are free to attend any gather they like, the same is not true for the exiles and candidates - and after a long, hard winter, cabin fever is setting in for some.

 Perhaps that is why word is going around, now, that everyone will be allowed to attend High Reaches Hold's gather, which is due to be held towards the middle of month 5. Candidates and exiles will be required to keep a Rider escort with them at all times, but will otherwise be free to enjoy the stalls, the food, the dancing-- the experience.
 For most of the exiles, this will be their first opportunity to see something beyond the weyr. The fact that the planned destination is /High Reaches Hold/, of all places, makes it more interesting still: is this intended to curb complaints? What will Lord Rynien think? And how /will/ the exiles deal with seeing such a lavish display?
