|log=Come the morning after the Crom trade fair, the Reaches buzzes with news. What happened? Who said what? How did-- how did six dragons land in the bowl in the depths of the night, lead by Shanlee and Kaylith, laden with approximately one-third of a decent tithe? Better late than never... Few people were still up to see the arrival of Telgar's charity or watch it being unloaded, just a few people who caught dark glimpses of Shanlee, N'thei, and the dragon-caravan carting supplies to the inner Weyr.

Over breakfast, by lunch, through dinner, tongues wagged. The Weyrleaders of High Reaches and Telgar met at Crom; Gay and E'tyn left the trade fair in high tempers; Teonath broadcast to any dragons listening that a portion of the Crom tithe was given back; and then what? Something about High Reaches taking Telgar's charity, about tempers, about inter-Weyr relations taking a turn for the worse. At the end of the day, what does it matter? Reaches folk are warmer, and that's where it ends. Right?
