| log = Those who are expecting an immediate and dramatic reaction to the return of the tithe to the Weyr by the Boreal riders are likely disappointed in the days following. Nothing really happens.

Well, not nothing /altogether/. Routines are kept, meals are made, life goes on -- if still somewhat restricted with even the third of a tithe recovered. However, the first of the meetings with the new Craft Representative is held without the presence of the Weyrleader -- one of many meetings where Taikrin's presence no longer seems required -- and any requests for support from Szadath are met with little but the hollow echo of the ocean from Iesaryth. The rumored story behind the sudden rift that filters out is that Taikrin was aware of Glacier's involvement with High Reaches Hold all along, and somehow failed to pass this on to the Acting Weyrwoman, even when the tithe came in... and went out again.

A good stretch of new-Turn productivity gets administrative paperwork up-to-date, and once the lower caverns are humming with work and gossip both, and the Weyr has settled into what's perhaps an uneasy sort of calm, there's one more surprise. The morning of Day 14, a Weyrwoman's knot is hung in the living cavern in the same place the nooses have been in the past, and Aishani no longer maintains her usual routine or meetings, directing inquiries Azaylia's way. Apparently, she quits.
