 Snickering as he leans back, “I suppose we all have our quirks,” N’rek teases her, then adds, “The first time you got drunk? No, I think I’d remember something like that. Hopefully with much less clothes involved.” He studies her in the balmy morning light as much as Edyis does him, tasting those offered lips and drawing her closer to him. As to what happened, “I wasn’t there for most of it,” he admits with a touch of wry, “but I think Jo was. I found you both on the beach since that brown of yours called us. You were pretty wasted by then,” he notes with an amused pointed look. “Goaded Jo pretty hard about some greenrider she’s interested in and then she left. Or ‘’ran’’,” he amends with a blink. “She was acting strange for ‘’her’’. Anyway, then it was just you and me.” He doesn’t need to elaborate from there on, the expression on his face says.

That Jo was there seems to draw some recollection back from a mid hangover hazed memory.  Enough that she squints uncomfortably, ''Greenrider... oh... shit. I'm going to pay for that, she can be kind of vindictive, Jo." Though there's a giggle, "Not that I am not entirely sure it wasn't worth it to see her on the defensive for a change."

 “You mean you’ve gotten drunk like that before you Impressed?” and N’rek angles a look down at her, as if he’s imagining her in that state more often before shaking his head. “Don’t see it,” comes at the end of that. That she’s looking concerned about Jo and retaliation, he shakes his head again and says, “She was likely just embarrassed. She might not do anything,” though this IS Jo they’re talking about. “I’m surprised she even ‘’gets’’ embarrassed. I also seem to recall you telling me you didn’ want me near said greenrider, yourself,” he also notes now, the grin taking on a bit of a knowing edge to it as he recalls. “She the type to make you nervous?” He’s teasing, obviously, but at the same time, he doesn’t look like he’s going to let her out of this, either.

She peers at the face of her bedmate through one half lidded eye, as though to reassure herself that she did not go home with a stranger. The expression becomes one of extreme relief at recognizing the Telgari brownrider's face.

 The sunlight was blinding. Edyis squeezed her eyes shut against the encroaching light, huddling closer to the warm body beside her with a groan. A string of sulfurous curses escapes, her lips brushing against his chest. Aching arms reach to drag the quilt over her head, shutting out the offending daylight. She peers at the face of her bedmate through one half lidded eye, as though to reassure herself that she did not go home with a stranger. The expression becomes one of extreme relief at recognizing the Telgari brownrider's face.
 N’rek’s a light sleeper, most times. He has his arm about Ed, his eyes half-lid to the sun streaming in through the half-opened curtain of his weyr. It’s only when Ed stirs that he shifts to accommodate her - and he meets her gaze readily enough and catches the relief therein. “The way you were drunk yesterday,” come his lazy voice, eased with sleep and low so as not to jar her senses too much. “I’m surprised you don’t think you’re sleeping out on the ledge with the dragons.” He cracks a smile.
