|log=It's been just about a turn since Junior Weyrwoman Lujayn was swapped to Igen in exchange for Ezalea, and all outward indications are that it has been going well - certainly, it lasted beyond the trial period initially suggested.

But on the fourth day of month eleven, Nahalith took off from her ledge, disappeared Between, and never came back. Not dead, no: gone back to Igen, by all reports. The Weyrleaders aren't saying much, but given the even-more-than-usual tension between the two, something big went down. Rumours certainly do seem to encourage the idea that Ezalea left in disgust over something... but what? Perhaps that bombshell is still to come.

In the meantime, High Reaches is left with a single gold, and no chance of immediate replacement - Lujayn, it's said, refused point-blank to return, being apparently very happy at Igen. Tiriana apparently claims she doesn't need a junior, and can manage perfectly well for herself, but that's hardly the point, surely, and with Iovniath still likely turns off rising again, it could be a very long time before that situation is rectified.

No, things are hardly improving at High Reaches.
