 Azaylia's got the magic touch! Probably because itchy headknobs is an inherited trait. All lids slide shut on the bronze and he leeeeans into the goldrider's touch, a growl of pleasure that would seem carnal, were it not for his obvious youth. K'zin is busy looking anywhere else but at Azaylia, so he catches the smirk form Alida and elbows the guard lightly (not hard enough to cause any damage, just enough to send the ''cut it out'' or ''NOT helping'' message). "Yeah... K'del said that there'd been lice when he was a weyrling, and some of the weyrlingmasters were cutting hair and-- I figured I'd have Sabs do it for me since she actually knows ''how'' to cut hair." His fingers go through it again, "Not too bad, is it?" He bites his lower lip. His expression abruptly changes when he has to choke back a laugh before shooting a ''not helping'' look to Ras, who's blissfully unaware. Alida's defense lessons must have helped because as N'ky approaches from behind, the bronze weyrling glances, and steps to the side, creating a wider gap for N'ky. Then he looks again, and stares. His turn to be surprise by a haircut.

 K'zin gives N'ky a thumbs up after staring for a moment. The shock of his hair was a helpful distraction, but now that the shock is over... K'zin is developing a-- ''problem''. The source? Well, another throaty growl from Ras might lend a clue to as to that. It's subtle at first, and before it gets beyond subtle, K'zin is excusing himself with awkward swiftness, "I- I-- Sorry! I forgot something!" And he turns, jog-hopping his way to barracks. Ras, at first, does not seem inclined to move away from Azaylia's hand, but a decidedly angry call of: "RASAVYTH!" over the former-Smith's shoulder has lids lazing open. He's lost for a moment, chuffing in draconic laughter, and with a sweet croon of farewell to all, he's strolling back towards the barracks.
 The growling, surprisingly affectionate bronze is enough that elbows and eyeballs are entirely missed by Azaylia. Since her gold's playful scold, the woman has managed to calm herself so that she might give the weyrlings some attention as well. "She's beautiful, N'ky." Uttered without a squeal, light voice returning to it's usual gentle cadence. "They do that. Grow up too fast. Though for you all I'm sure it'll feel too slo--" At K'zin's sudden departure, the weyrwoman is left standing and blinking with his dragon. "Oh." Not quite the end to her sentence. It's when Rasavyth is summoned with anger that has her looking after the pair, concerned. "I hope it wasn't anything I did?" She asks the remaining weyrlings as if they have any insight into such odd behavior. But, seeing as Alida has reached for Cailluneth's headknobs, she only watches with a light bite to her lip. "How has it been, so far? Though I'm sure you've been asked that plenty." Hraedhyth lifts her head at the odd departure, watching with an intense focus before her gaze drops back down to Ilicaeth. The gold shifts her weight to 'make room' for the blue, curling towards him ever so carefully, as if afraid she might squish him.

 Dragon> To Cailluneth, Hraedhyth pays mind to those colors while her own usual red, orange, black and brown mean little in the language that the little green speaks. They are constant, they mean everything. Curiosity keeps the queen silent, rich ochre rhythm echoing with some awe at Cailluneth's thoughts. She gives a low growl, pleased by what she sees.

 "Poor thing. Hrae should have kept her itchy 'knobs to herself." Her other hand reaches up to see if perhaps the green minds being stroked under her jaw, all but cradling the dragonet's head. Her touch is firm, but not too much so, "Rasavyth? Hm. Baby dragons can be unpredictable." She smiles at that fact, one they're probably familiar with by now. With a gentle sigh, she looks to both N'ky and Alida, "Sounds about normal, then? I was worried." Two weeks is a long time for her not to have checked in! ...Nevermind the regular reports made by their Weyrlingmasters. A weyrwoman needs to be able to multitask, and she balances scritching Cailluneth with speaking, "If any of you need anything, I'll try and help. Though... I suppose that's what your Weyrlingmasters are for." She realizes with a shy smile. Hraedhyth doesn't looked bothered by that twitchy tail, the tip of her own giving a few uneasy flicks despite her too-still form. All except her neck, as it allows her to crane her head down and nose at Ilicaeth. She hovers rather than making any actual contact, warm rumble washing over him.
