|log=Despite concern voiced about just what the clutch would produce, all but two of the remaining Candidates at Fort were on the Sands shortly after the dragons’ welcoming hum broke through day 25 of month 10. Elaruth and Mecaith’s eggs were quick to hatch, producing the following new weyrlings:

One of the eggs didn’t hatch and was taken Between by T’rev and Mecaith following the Hatching, though Elaruth remained on the Sands for some time afterwards. The celebration that followed was a touch less elaborate than usual, as has been common for feasts at Fort for a while, but there was more merriment and laughter than has been seen for a time, regardless.
