|log=Rumors spread in the afternoon and evening of 7/7/19, that Fort Sea’s holder had been summarily summoned to Fort Hold to answer to Lord Savilan for Fort Sea’s involvement in the re-appropriation of material goods after last autumn’s disastrous cotton and sisal crop caused shortages throughout the region.

After several hours without word, Fort Sea was seen to leave, transported back to the hold by a nervous young bluerider. News from Fort Hold was officially passed down within minutes: all materials that were intended for the Weyr and held at Fort Sea are being sent on to the Weyr. Additionally, anything that is missing/went bad, will be compensated for monetarily.

More rumors point out that Lord Savilan has sworn to ensure that Fort Sea will not cause such a problem again and has requested assistance from the Weyr to ensure the free flow of trade. What form this assistance might actually take is unknown, but a meeting between the Weyrleaders and Lord Fort is in the works and will likely be held during the upcoming Summer Gather at the Hold.
