|log=True to form, Zaisavyth's eggs-- like their dam-- made quite the entrance: they started to hatch shortly before dawn on the 10th day of month 9, welcomed into the world by an enthusiastic queen and her mate. Luckily for everyone, they kept it short and sweet, leaving the Weyr in the position to host a simple hatching breakfast feast for those few in attendance. And the final count? Two bronzes, three browns, three blues, and six greens, all of them healthy. Good news!

Guests were welcomed-- including Fort's newest Blood-- though the earliness of the hour meant fewer than usual were in attendance, and few travelled in advance to ensure their attendance. A large contingent, including both weyrleaders, attended from Monaco; but perhaps that's not surprising given the (in this instance favorable) time difference, and the fact that several candidates hailed from the southern Weyr.
