|log=With the first sevenday of the new turn bound to cost the Weyr (even with Gar’s contribution), it can be of little surprise that Fort’s celebration of Turn’s End doesn’t stand to be a particularly grand affair. What’s available in abundance is snow, and those awkward dunes and the several feet of the stuff kicking about the bowl are being sculpted into individual walls and maze-like structures, while the kitchen works on producing fruit-based dyes in large enough quantities to… paint with? Turn’s End promises to be an icy affair of rainbow colours and the first instance of free-flowing alcohol in months and months, the message being: /don’t/ wear your best outfit if you want to have any fun. And anyone brave enough to wear white… expect to start the new turn wearing the latest in eclectically-coloured fashion.
