I wrote to you to inform you of the passing of my father, Ustelan of Nabol, this morning. Although he had reached a great old age, there is some suspicion at this time that the cause of his death was not natural. You will understand, of course, that we are presently in a state of grief, but also concerned about these events. Lord Ustelan passed into a coma some days ago, quite unexpectedly, a coma that coincideded with the disappearance of his fourth wife, Ienavi. A full investigation is underway to confirm the cause of death.

Your assistance in discovering the location of our missing Lady would be appreciated. Even if she has no connection to these tragic events, the timing of her disappearance is suspicious, and concerns us. Moreover, as his wife, it would be appropriate for her to attend the funeral rights of our much beloved Lord. Perhaps you might dispatch your wings on our behalf.

It pains us to acknowledge that there have been rumours of late that indicate the Lady Ienavi is with child, and further, that Lord Ustelan intended to acknowledge her child as his heir. We wish at this time to strongly refute both claims: certainly, if the Lady is indeed pregnant, it cannot possibly be Lord Ustelan's child. Even if it were, there is no proof he had any intentions of naming the /youngest/ of his children, when he has any number of more suitable adult heirs.

As his eldest son, it is my intention to take up my rightful claim to Nabol. Your support in this matter would certainly be of assistance in smoothing my passage - and ensuring the continued good relations between our two great homes.
