Anyone who caught a glimpse of the mayhem in the pens before the little queen made a break for the skies might have wondered at Mecaith’s rather sudden appearance; was he actually meant to have been present at all? Whatever the case, gold and bronze have been inseparable since, whilst their riders go about the usual tasks associated with a change of leadership. Already the wings can expect some not-unpleasant changes, though it remains to be seen whether Citrine’s riders will view more regular drills as something positive.
