|log=Early in month 10, word spreads from the Starcrafters that a fairly impressive meteor shower is approaching Pern and should actually be visible to the naked eye on the evening of Day 11. With the tithes coming in - including the extras promised by Crom - and the weather not yet too awfully cold, the decision is made to hold a stargazing party out on the lakeshore. With a bonfire, food and drinks, it should be a fun evening: on all accounts, it sounds as though the meteor shower will be quite an impressive sight.
