Massive in scale, the Weyr's main storage passage connects to the kitchen on one end and the outbound tunnel on the other. Large enough to admit a wagon laden with goods, the tunnel easily permits the unloading and organization of supplies into the various storerooms.
Branching off from this corridor are multiple caverns, the nearer two being 'open' stores from which residents can readily help themselves, while the deeper stores are kept locked up tight with a posted sign and inventory hung on a hook outside of each. An alcove next to the public stores serves as a catch-all area for reshelving items whose destination is uncertain; two sets of stone shelving and several bins hold these items neatly until a stores assistant has a moment to deal with them.
Though the storage caverns vary in size, shape, and the smoothness of their walls, all belong to the same system: whitewashed walls, swept floors, and most importantly, neatly labeled and inventoried shelves providing ample space to stow all the supplies a busy Weyr needs. Though there's no direct internal lighting, a glowbasket may be brought in from the niche outside each cavern, the better to ward off pests and the inky dark of deep caves.

Hana isn't a normal face down in the storerooms - at least, not yet. That said, this seems to have been chosen for the perfect time to come visit. In the fabrics of course, those that are available to everyone, and a goodly distance away from the locked and signed portion of the goodies, holding a glow-basket to better consider various colors.
Hana isn't the only unusual face to be seen in here, as there's also R'co. He's got a basket looped over his arm with a few supplies tucked inside as he approaches Hana and the fabrics. "Afternoon," he greets her warmly as he sashays past her to the next pile of fabric bolts. "They do have some ''divine'' fabrics here, considering it's a Weyr and not the ''Weavers'', don't they?" Slender fingers stroke over a sample piece, his lips forming a pleased little pout at the feel of it.
Hana hms, in agreement, "And this is only what is publicly available. I am going to have to explore one of these days, to see what else is available for special events," she admits, stepping around a bright yellow bolt to consider something darker hued, running fingers over one edge.
"Oh, ''that'' one would look ''fabulous'' on you, with your hair," R'co chimes in, approving of the new bolt Hana's looking at. He runs his eyes appraisingly over her, a look that ends with a pleasantly pleased little nod. After tucking blonde hair behind his ear and out of his face, he offers his hand to her with a warm smile. "I'm R'co. I believe I would have remembered you, had we met? You seem... not ''quite'' the sort to be of a Weyr upbringing."
Hana laughs quietly, and shakes her head, "Oh, no - not for me; at least, not this bolt. I prefer more teal and blue-green colors," she admits, before turning slightly to share that smile with the rider, "Hana, and no, I do not believe we have. Well-met, even if I must follow that with admitting I hail from High Reaches Hold. I hope that will not be held against me?" she offers, the laugh dancing under the words, and lifting them up to questioningly tease the man at the end.
R'co's brows raise, teeth pressing down briefly on his bottom lip. "From the ''Hold''? ''That'' would explain it - though it also begs the question ''why'' you would be here... unless you're, let me see now..." Light blue eyes flicker over Hana once more, and he grins lopsidedly. "It's almost ''too'' easy to think you were a candidate for the recent clutch - but I don't think you look the type to get your hands dirty doing something like that. So, I'll go with..." A double-beat pause. "You're here to avoid getting '''fasted'' to some ''awful'' Holder boy."
Hana tilts her head, letting her fingers fall from the fabric, and the laughter fading, though the smile remains the same, "I /could/ have been a candidate - after all, I came to the Weyr at the same time D'kan did," she points out, even if there was no way to know that. "But... you are correct there. I am actually here to take care of Lady Azaylia's; well, her schedule and meals. I was considering the fabric for her, actually. A vest, perhaps, or maybe a dress?" Confirmation or denial about the fasting doesn't even get past her teeth, much less her lips, at least, not yet.
The lack of an answer perhaps speaks more to R'co than an actual one would have; he blinks curiously at Hana, but skirts over further questions related to the subject of getting hitched... for now, anyway. "D'kan. He would be - well, presumably a weryling? I'm afraid I haven't met any of them. Weyrlings have too many restrictions to be of interest to ''me'', darling." He shrugs his slender shoulders, then leans against the fabric to simply observe the younger woman. "For ''Azaylia''? Hrm. Not a ''bad'' colour for her at ''all'', though I would absolutely go with a ''dress'' for her. A vest is ''far'' too..." No words, just a scrunch-nosed headshake. "Are you a seamstress-type, then? As well as being a scheduler?"
"Hm, I do prefer dresses - a vest can be quite versatile, however - pants, or skirts, or even over said dress. I shall have to think about it, and perhaps gently inquire on which would be preferred," Hana muses, before lifting a shoulder, "Embroidery, more than anything, though I can sew as well as anyone else. And yes, D'kan is one of the weyrlings," she admits, totally missing any connotations on what restrictions might bar them from being interesting.
R'co turns back to the bolts of fabric he's leaning on, stroking fingers down them until he finds a shade he likes. "I would ''love'' to get ''my'' hands on Azaylia. There's so much ''potential'' there... she could -- she ''should'' look every bit as glamorous as ''Aishani'' tends to. Though I rather feel it would be ''impossible'' to persuade her to sit still for long enough to actually ''do'' something for her... I don't suppose you'd care to schedule ''me'' into her diary at some point, would you, darling?"

Finally, with a glance skewered upward, she asks, "And just what would you have planned, good sir?" she asks, turning to take a look at another fabric, as different as night to day from her first fabric, this a pale cream color, and baby-soft.
"I'm a ''beautician'', sweetheart - when I'm not fighting fake ''Thread''." R'co scoffs; he's clearly not a fan of the latter. "Honestly. It's an ''Interval''. All these 'threadfalls' do is ruined ''perfectly'' fine days. It's not like we'll ever have to fight it for ''real'' within ''our'' lifetimes, now, is it? ''That'', by the way," he touches the cream fabric, "is ''perfect'' for her complexion, but it would simply ''have'' to be a beautiful dress, or a lovely full skirt. It's ''begging'' to be made beautiful."
Hana hms thoughtfully, "Not my initial thought - I do have other projects in mind, but... yes. I do believe you are correct; a skirt would be quite lovely, with white stitching along the edges, I think. Something that would pair well with anything, and give a wonderful swirl on any turn."

And of ''course'' I enjoy tea, darling - who doesn't?" He holds one finger up, questioningly; "Are we talking a ''proper'' tea? Or merely a cup of what's found in the caverns?" Then an idea strikes him, and that upraised finger becomes five as his pout turns into something far brighter. "I have the most ''marvelous'' idea, darling. Let me demonstrate my skills to you. Why don't ''you'' schedule me into ''your'' diary, and I'll give you, oh, a massage, facial, manicure, pedicure? The ''works'', darling, next time we've a day without Thread-forsaken ''threadfall''. Otherwise I'm just ''far'' too firestoney - I ''swear'', it's next to ''impossible'' to get the stink out."
