And tonight, Liv thought she was going to get to have some fun, maybe have a few hours 'off-duty'. Still watching, of course, still noting, but also maybe drinking and dancing? But when Brie-- Aishani made her announcement, any hope of that was quashed.

For her, for Liv, who comes from perhaps many places but does not come from High Reaches with its histories, the name rings a small tinkle bell of recognition. Aishani. She had been mulling it over, turning it around in the sharp, shiny inner recesses of her mind, but when her entire wing reacted as they did, all of Glacier rising and leaving as one, she had to go with them. Play the part.

She turned a smile to the man she'd been standing with. He was handsome and had kind eyes, and she hated to do it because he was a good cover, but she gave him her drink and laid a hand on his arm, apologizing and excusing herself both in the same few words. She left the cavern as stealthily as she leaves and enters any room, when she doesn't want to be seen that is, and made it through one of the tunnels out into the bowl where Iyniroth waited.

Now, after he drops her off and settles on the ledge, she arrives in her weyr, pausing for just a moment in front of a full-length mirror to look at herself. She wore a dress, for the feast, a deep plum dress with a deep 'V' and cut that hugged her here and there. Shame.

After changing into her normal pants and sweater, she goes to her table to take up one of the three heavy books there. These books are not labelled, they are not marked or titled, they just exist, and within them there are countless records of things that have happened in the past several years, perhaps even decades, told by others that were not her but who might have been like her a little bit. She peruses one particular section, because she knows where to find things, and her half-lidded eyes rest finally on one dated section.

There she finds the names, the ones she knew were linked together to this announcement tonight. She lets her eyes wander off the page, then unfocus as she slips into the same stream of consciousness that Iyniroth occupies to ask him to please pass on a message for her.
