|log=News travels quickly on Pern, and it wasn't long after the tithe trains were being emptied and stored away that High Reaches heard the first news of an unusually large tithe: coal, wool, firestone, and a number of other items being bestowed on Telgar Weyr. Speculation of who gave such a tithe became solidified when a grim looking Weyrwoman confirmed Crom's independent shift of allegiance at dinner to a few who then went on to spread it Weyr-wide.

With winter around the corner, the lack of Crom's coal tithes will soon become not only apparent, but keenly felt, and the Headwoman and her staff are keeping close tabs on Reaches' current stores and the level of depletion daily rather than the typical weekly.

OOC: As the plot continues, we'll be gearing towards our second milestone, a scheduled event where there will be a chance at interactions between Telgar and High Reaches sometime towards the end of this month. In the mean time, we encourage you to go out and play, meet randomly across Pern with Telgari and in general non-Reaches.
