|log=After an assessment of the solarium by the Smiths hired by the Weyrleaders, it’s been decided that every effort will be made to restore the glass-roofed room to its former glory, though, since there’s no sure way to tell exactly how it was in turns gone by, it sounds like there could be a lot of creative designing involved. Rumour has it that, if all goes to plan, the aim is to have the work complete and a celebratory concert beneath the stars for turnover 23.

The lakeshore has finally been restored to an acceptable state, as has the grove and the herb garden, though the garden continues to require more attention to encourage re-growth. It’s just as the lake starts to look clear and clean again that an announcement has been made regarding one of the discoveries made in the other chambers found during exploration of the damaged bowl wall. Apparently, it’s taken such a long time to decide exactly what to do about this particular discovery because the Smiths have had an ambitious plan in mind – to take the water supply and reroute it into a number of chambers to supply existing weyrs and rooms with baths and/or running water. If interested occupants can put up with building work for a time, it might well be worth their while.
