H'vier couldn't tell whether it pissed him off more that she'd kneed him in the balls, that she'd caught him with another woman or that he actually cared that he might never have another chance with her again. It was definitely the balls one while he was still curled up around himself on the floor of his weyr. In the days that followed, it turned miserably into the caring one, which sent him to his whiskey, trying and failing not to care about anything at all.
