 Fraya nods her head, grinning at Carisandra with a small giggle before she nods at N'thei. "Yes, sir." She chimes in, smiling pleasantly at the rules. She grins pleasantly at Louvaen, nodding her head as she hops up from the cot and starting towards the door after her partner.

 The hike across the bowl could almost be termed pleasant in the late summer, the fading twilight, all that loveliness, but N'thei has long legs and he expects those with shorter legs to keep up somehow. It's a jog for the littlest candidates, his pace, and he stops at the edge of the sands without warning, turns abruptly back to the cluster of young people. "Girl that I saw at Fort." As if that were Lujayn's name, for that's who he's looking at; "Recap the rules for us before I turn you all loose out there."

 Fraya squeaks, slowly rising from the egg she's touching and fleeting slowly. She casts a glance in Leova's direction and gives the girl a bright smile but says nothing in the direction. Nope, she flutters up into the gallery in retreat. Once there, she waits for the others.
 Carisandra looks up and sighs. Slowly, a glance at Teonath to make sure she wasn't getting upset. She starts making her way out of the clutch. As she passes the big Stargazers egg, she brushes a hand along it's shell but does not slow or stop. She continues on out onto the open sand and towards the entrance. "Thank you Weyrleader." she says softly as she gets closer, casting a sympathetic look towards Leova before she moves on.
 "But it's fun to guess," Lujayn argues playfully, just about to voice thoughts about the little white egg's occupant when N'thei speaks for all the candidates to hear. "Green, maybe." She muses to herself, still smiling as she files out with the rest.
 There is perhaps an uncharacteristic hardness to Louvaen's eyes, but otherwise he accepts the Weyrleader's words with a yielding tilt of his chin. "On the chance that it was - I thought I'd offer, sir." He pauses, his eyes flicking briefly to Leova to catch her thanks. "Thank you for bringing us to see the eggs, sir," is added. And then finally his stance breaks, his feet moving in order to join the retreat.
 In response, there's a downright kind-and-gentle gleam to N'thei's smiling face when he answers Louvaen's hard look; "Don't mention it, lad. Good luck with the hero bit." He waits at the edges for the others to usher out ahead of him, looks benign while he nods to the various thank-yous.

 Leova's terse nod acknowledges the looks and smiles without passing for a real response. Just a lump of mud, staying there, just off the sands. No reason to pay attention, really, for all that she'd always stayed on the higher tiers before.
