The WOODCRAFT has churned out its yearly report on the state of Pern's foliage and has noted there will be restrictions on cutting down birch trees. Any persons caught cutting down birch trees without the express permission of the Woodcraft may be fined.

HEALER HALL's annual report has indicated a rise in the flu in the northern territories and for travelers to practice caution. There is also a footnote about some random cases of leprosy at IGEN HOLD.

Two new masters were made at Turnover, along with four new journeymen at HARPER HALL.

Craftmaster Lyeley's final ship was christened the 'Fantasy', and was launched on its maiden voyage to the far western continents at the SEACRAFT.

ISTA AREA
----
The engagement of young Lord Tristen was announced at the Turnover party at ISTA HOLD. His betrothed is the lady Miule of Red Rock Hold, a minor holding that looks to KEROON.

TELGAR AREA
----
TELGAR WEYR saw a change in leadership when Torani's Yuraveth rose the day after Turnover, catching the Weyr off guard. Young Ishaeth, paired with equally young Y'stin, caught the savvy queen.
