|log=It was on the 10th day of the 8th month that Vidar was finally released from the Infirmary with some modest after-care requirements. It was only a few hours later that he was spotted speaking with a visiting rider from Igen Weyr – only to depart with that rider after a short, but intense, conversation.

Faranth only knows what the lad’s up to, but his former Healer-handler is rumored to be concerned that he might attempt to Stand for the clutch hardening on Igen’s sands. At present, the Healers have not requested that the youth be returned to Fort Weyr – nor does there seem to be any effort on the part of his family to retrieve him, either.

Will he eventually return? Will he go home? Or will he somehow talk his way into Standing at Igen Weyr? Only time will tell.
