		+	The turns have not been kind to this middle-aged woman. Her weather-darkened skin is heavily lined, and the knot of dark blond hair tied up behind her head is heavily streaked with grey. There's strength, though, despite the premature aging. It's inherent in her sturdy build, strong muscles, and worn callouses. There's a spark of life yet in her grey-green eyes; they speak of a hard life, but one lived with determination.

		+	It's hard to say what her knee-length dress was in its previous life. It definitely had one - the cut is awkward, despite the clever work done with ties and sashes to fit it snugly to Shimana's stocky figure. It hasn't got much color beyond sandy brown, though here and there bits of a bright red dye remain protected by a fold of fabric. Her cloak might once have been a sleeping fur, though it remains well-cared for and gleaming with a recent oiling.
