Sat Aug 13 Tiriana<br /> ----------------------------------------------------------------------------<br /> There's a rumor among the dragons, and Tiriana and K'del definitely got some message at the hatching feast that made them leave abruptly. But it takes until the next day before word really gets out of just what happened in the Weyrleader's weyr: someone--an exile girl--was murdered. Competing theories abound on the exact motivations, but here's a few of the rumors going around:<br /> <br /> * An exile killed Seani for assimilating.<br /> * A weyrperson or holder killed Seani to send a message to the exiles and the Weyrleaders who harbor them.<br /> * Seani was spying on K'del so he killed her.<br /> * Seani wouldn't have sex with K'del so he killed her.<br /> * Seani did have sex with K'del so Tiriana killed her.<br /> * Tiriana was going to kill K'del because of the hatching results, but Seani got in the way first.<br /> * Seani was going to spill the exiles' plot to take over the Weyr, so they killed her.<br /> * Seani killed herself to indict the Weyrleaders for their part in--something, anyway. <br /> * Seani wasn't murdered at all; it was just an accident.<br /> * In fact, Seani's not really dead at all. Somebody's uncle's cousin's ex-lover's kid saw her in the inner caverns the morning after.<br /> <br /> In fact, the only thing that seems to be clear at this point is that everybody's lining up with a side. The exiles are claiming Weyrfolk did this to one of the exiles' own, and making sweet Seani into a martyr. Many Weyrfolk are claiming it's the exiles' own doing, on account of just what was she--not to mention her murderer--doing in the Weyrleader's weyr if they weren't up to /some/thing?<br /> <br /> Only time will tell when the truth will actually come out.<br /> &gt;----------------------------------------------------------------------------&lt;</div>
