== Description ==
His mop of brown hair is as unkempt as his stubble-dusted, strong jaw, and his blue eyes are heavy-lidded, set either side of a broad nose and above prominent cheekbones. At 5'11, he's got a figure to be proud of - well-muscled but not overly so, he clearly keeps himself fit.

X'nd is well-presented in an outfit suitable for a Fortian weyrling, with a sturdy shirt, trousers and boots in good condition.

== WYSK ==
- Formerly called Lexander. Now called X'nd (pronounced zand), still nicknamed Xander.

- Comes from a Crafter background. Was apprenticed to the Beastcraft since he was 12, specialising in canine training.

- He was born in Igen Weyr, moved to Ruatha Hold, spent a little time in Fort Hold, was Searched by Benden Weyr aged 16, then Searched again at 19 by Fort.

- He Impressed Qismath from Isyath and Vhaeryth's clutch in turn 32.

- He has a canine called Bar who he spends time with outside of his rider duties. Bar's often with him when he goes for his morning training run.

== History ==
Lexander was born to Craft parents during their posting at Igen Weyr. He spent his youngest years there, before moving with his family to their new posting in Ruatha Hold when he was around eight. Their Beastcraft speciality later took them from Ruatha to Fort Hold, though then 12-year old Xander made a move of his own, off to apprentice in the Beastcraft himself.

He was 16 when he was first picked up for Search by a Benden rider. Although he accepted, he didn't Impress and returned to the Hall to continue his studies.

At 19, he was Searched by a Fortian rider. The decision to accept to Stand this time was more difficult given how close he was to earning his journeyman knot, but the chance to become a rider won out and he found himself on Fort's hatching sands.

It was the right decision, as he was found by his Qismath. His Impression was a staggering thing, and that fleeting brush with Weyrlife as a young child did nothing to prepare him for what his new life was going to be.

Still, he powered through his early weyrling experience... and made it through the collapse of the barracks thankfully unscathed.
