Description

Without a growth spurt in sight, Klohi stands at an 'impressive' 5'0". Plump, heart shaped face tapers into a rounded jaw with barely enough room for her wide mouth-- and even wider smile. Above her broad nose, dark eyes regularly shift between an impish twinkle and vapid stare. Black hair is often in some form of disarray, a manic halo that hangs about her head, whether in thin braids or tightly wound curls. Her complexion is that of rich, unsweetened klah, figure carrying evidence of the teen's slothful nature in excessive curves.

History

Born and raised in Ista Hold, Klohi is a fairly unremarkable teenage girl. Her father is Maris, a fisherman, and she has three half brothers; Aquil, Laris, and Parq. They are also fishermen. She is the product of Maris' second marriage to her mother, Kleoh. Her mother died when she was younger, prone to illnesses that would leave her weak for months at a time. When she passed, Maris was the first to admit that he didn't know how to raise a young girl... but bless his heart, he tried.

Despite the overwhelming amount of testosterone in their little home, Klohi was raised to be a proper lady. Er-- enough of a one to soothe her father's concern. She liked pink, didn't she? The overprotective nature of her brothers made sure that she rarely had to do anything for herself, which Klohi happily took advantage of. She had only a few light chores, and after she was finished she could spend the whole day lying around in the Istan sun. Life was good.

Though Maris was overworked, he was not so oblivious that he couldn't see how a life without responsibility was affecting his daughter. It wasn't good for her personality (or her waistline, but he knew enough about women not to mention THAT).

So, one can imagine Klohi's shock and horror at being shipped off to High Reaches Hold. Her mother's sister, Aunt Kathryn, intended to mentor her niece and undo years of pampering. Suddenly Klohi was tossed into a world of SNOW and rules and chores and reprimand and did she mention SNOW?!?! It was sick, it was twisted, and it was the driving force behind her decision to Stand for Iesaryth and Vhaeryth's clutch. That'd show her dad! Everyone knew what diabolical things happened in Weyrs, and while she had no intention of doing any of them, it'd definitely make Maris' hair turn gray. Ha!

It was a flawless plan (except for even MORE chores and rules and some of the other candidates were just so UGH) up until the Hatching. Sharp-edged, superior, and only slightly less nimble than her blue brother, green Quinzeth found Klohi, and doomed her to a life of 'Reachian winters.
