To everyone back home-- Hope you are all well. Since I wrote last, a lots has happened. I mentioned that I was considering joining the tithe train to the Weyr, and maybe working there. I know you weren't thrilled with the idea, mother, but I made the decision anyway. There really wasn't anything for me in Tillek. Looks like it was the right choice. When I got there, I got work as a Handyman, which was good. Liked it a lot. Only did it for a little while, though, because I got myself searched for the clutch on the sands. Hope you'll try and make it for the hatching. A real first for us, I bet: a dragonrider in the family! Supposedly, the hatching'll be in maybe another month or two? Anyway, hope things are all fine, and that at that trouble at Tillek hasn't impacted you. Kas.
