With Boreal's sweeps having recently completed, it's a reasonable time to assume that a small bluerider who rarely runs around in her riding leathers is probably home turning herself back into a prim little doll. Oswinth is on the ledge, resting tired wings and looking a little molten from the efforts of the afternoon, enjoying what warmth the spring sunlight has to offer. Inside, it still hardly looks like Vienne has moved in, despite however many months she's been here. There's just a blue armchair and a trunk by the fire, a rug on the floor, a spare chair by the bed to collect the day's clothes and a few knicknacks on the mantle. She still doesn't have anything like a wardrobe or a small dining table or anything. All in all, very sparse. Freshly re-dressed in a skirt, a buttoned blouse and a cozy cardigan, she's in the process of putting away her riding gear.

Arekoth's form casts a shadow, and one that grows smaller, smaller - and suddenly is mostly just Arekoth himself, hovering just shy of the blue's ledge, talons so close... but not touching. « Thought that was you, » he greets that other dragon, unashamed or unremembering of past events. « He wants yours, » isn't without a wicked little upward lilt to it. If one were to care to look, one might see H'kon somewhere between rolling his eyes and grimacing, from his dragon's neck.

Well this visitor sure does put a cramp in Oswinth's relaxing. As Arekoth nears, he draws himself up. He should probably answer more quickly, what with the brown hovering as he does, but instead the blue waits a few long beats before saying, « He may speak with her. » He moves over so the brown can land, but he does it begrudgingly and by that time, Vienne is lingering just inside the weyr's entrance, waiting and watching.

« Too kind. » Did that talon touch stone just a little before the blue started to move? Maybe. Arekoth's hide is gleaming the colour of a dragon well-fed and feeling his best, his eyes spinning the fast green of high spirits. H'kon's look is carefully focused as he unstraps from his dragon. He hasn't even looked to the Weyr's entrance yet when he gives a firm glance up to Arekoth. A glance that says 'behave', and a glance that seems to prompt Arekoth's stretching of his wings toward Oswinth's personal space. "Vienne," comes with the turn toward her.

Oswinth tucks himself up, nudged out of the sun and edged away by Arekoth's sprawling wings. Vienne watches the dragons rather that H'kon's approach, but as he turns, she lifts her chin faintly. "He should leave. The bowl is just a hop down. He can wait there." A beat. "Please."

H'kon turns back to look to his dragon, pressing his lips flat together. The look given Vienne is not so much apologetic as it is setting into something stubbornly put-upon. "This concerns him." No sooner than the words are issued, H'kon is looking back to his dragon.

That the request appears to be denied has Vienne blinking at H'kon with her mouth open, bewildered. Another beat passes as she stares at him and then she shakes her head. "I will not have Oswinth pressed from his own ledge. Arekoth can leave. Or you can both leave. Or we will."

It's once H'kon turns from his dragon back to Vienne that those wings are settled along the brown's back. Slowly, carefully flexing as they go. Once H'kon can feel his dragon withdrawn to a more appropriate spacing, he simply lifts his chin to Vienne, a query in the lift of his eyebrows. And Oswinth gets a faintly prodding, « Is your ledge so small now? »

« No, » Oswinth murmurs back, not daring to say more. But he probably doesn't have to. "I'm not negotiating with you, H'kon. This is our ledge, our home." She comes striding out of the passage way in her socks, even shorter than usual, passing Arekoth without looking at him and heading to Oswinth's side. The blue drops his head a little lower and Vienne turns her profile so that both visitors can see the cool resolve on her face.

H'kon's is more a bow of his head than a nod, a single motion, held just a moment at its lowest point. "As you will." What little distance he'd put between himself and Arekoth is undone. H'kon pauses only so long as required to offer, quiet and serious, "And Arekoth is my dragon, and I cannot hope to repair what has gone wrong in distance from him." The climb to that neck is practiced. "If you will hear me, we will not be difficult to find."

"What could you have to say? Do you have an apology? This is how you would apologize? Bullying us?" Vienne's eyes narrow as she turns to look at them, Oswinth trying to collect himself behind her so that he is not actually hiding behind his small lifemate. "Do you think he doesn't know what he's doing or do you think we're just too stupid to tell? But fine, pretend I 'wouldn't hear you'. Blame me." She's already turning back to Oswinth, a hand on his shoulder, though it does little to sooth him at the moment.

"I asked only that you reconsider. You have done so, if not changed your mind," a pause so he can attach the straps properly, "and I am acceding to your wishes." Silence as he looks to Arekoth, and the brown's talons grip the edge of that ledge. "I do not blame you. Oswinth may find Arekoth if either of you should wish." Right before the brown spreads his wings, and jumps.
