| Though no serious injuries were attained, the confrontation in the living cavern has left a fair few scrapes, bloody noses, and swollen eyes. At the beginning, the waiting area of the infirmary is quite full. But as people are dealt with in order of injury, bleeders first, then sprains, then bruises, the place starts to empty out. Vienne has since been called in, leaving H'kon waiting in a chair too big for him. It's only when the two riders to his left stand, at the behest of an infirmary hand, that there is open air between him and K'del. The glance to the bronzerider is barely there before H'kon is looking forward, face set, legs swinging slightly, unconsciously. Silently. K'del is not precisely injured, but where does a lonely, bereft, vomit-mouthed bronzerider to go but the safety and security of the Infirmary? His glance follows H'kon's by a matter of seconds, just long enough that he misses the brownrider's glance towards him. The shift of his shoulders is subtle, but obvious: he, too, turns his gaze away, boring holes in the wall with the force of his will. He scowls, but that's all he'll do until there's a healer to pull him away. |

In my world, a Norman Rockwell-esque artist-rider was there to see the scene, and went home to paint/sketch an appropriate account of it.
Like this. Only you know. Not happy. >_> Probably more like this.
