Template:FTWDragon With a final shiver that shakes the meadow grasses, the Wild Lavender egg simply dissolves. The Autumn Meadow Green Hatchling thus revealed unfurls her goo-smeared tail and simply stares out at the muddled scene before her.
Autumn Meadow Green Hatchling
Late autumn's stubborn sage covers the length of this hatchling from snubbed muzzle through blunt-spaded tail, a uniform hue that seems lifted straight from Greenfields' silvery prairies. Wide-set headknobs frame her face and crown her triangular nose, while faintly olive 'ridges march down her foreshortened neck. The same discreet olive, tinged with just a hint of dying bronze, brightens her neck and belly, then reappears at the swell of her shoulders. Each of her curves and angles seem dulled, as if time and wind have softened the play of muscles along her flanks, and pressed under the spade of her tail. But monochrome as her body is, her wings are glorious -- overlong for her size, with translucent goldenrod sails that fairly shine in even the faintest light. Bright foxglove blossoms on the joints of her wingbones, then fades into subtly dappled sage and bronze wingspars.
Public Impression Message
The Autumn Meadow Green Hatchling's stumbling feet carry her past a particularly non-descript Candidate, a shorter woman with blah brown hair. She stops, head cocking, then turns back to give the woman a long, searching look. ...Yes. This one. Haille. She will do.
