Description
6'3" and solidly built, J'taryn's unassuming carriage belies his frame. His head is topped with short golden locks, well-kept and orderly. His tanned face is strong in feature with an angular chin and broad brow, though he lacks the high cheekbones that would make him truly stunning. His blue eyes are touched with green and seem ever thoughtful. His pale pink lips only move to speak when there is cause and rarely without being pressed together in restrained silence while he considers his words. His clothes are functional for an Igenite, often the leathers uniquely suited to that arid climate, or otherwise light clothes that indicate a lifetime of familiarity with just what makes Igen's temperatures easiest to bear.

History
Born to the prolific Igen greenrider J'tel and lower caverns woman Arynia, J'taryn's mother kept him in Igen Weyr but as one of the many community-raised weyrbrats. Because of his mother, he had more contact with his father than most of his half-siblings (like Tayte and Jeyli) who were fostered out to other places. As an adult, he became one of those who helped his half-siblings find their blood, if they wished to, especially after his father's passing in turn 34. He Impressed his Njebrith when he was only 15, in turn 24. He's been a competent wingrider even if he has to work a little harder than the average rider to keep his dragon on the task at hand. He was dealt a cruel hand by fate when he found himself love-struck by the heir of Red River Hold's new wife in late turn 34. Seeing no other way to be close to her, he took Mishal up on his offer of after-hours work. His latest habitual task has been to keep an eye on Teoma's sister, Farideh, so he can be found at High Reaches fairly often with his pale bronze lifemate.
Dragon
Njebrith is a pale bronze of elegant proportion. In personality, his loose concept is "innocents" which often manifests in day-to-day RP as a toddler or otherwise immature and hyper child. Feel free to ask to have him be occupied or asleep if this isn't your cup of tea to deal with, otherwise, enjoy!
