Her handwriting is terrible - each letter formed very, very carefully, but not very well, much like you would expect from a kindergartener writing their first letters. Her spelling is also not much good, though consistently bad: every misspelled word is, at least, spelled the same way the next time around.

Dear Daegan,

I hope Telgar is good! I miss having you around. In my Harper lessons, I am doing much better, and they suggested I should write a letter, to practice. I thought of writing to you, so I am.

Everything is the same, here. I don't know what your gran thinks of you being at Telgar. She hasn't said much, but maybe that's because I don't know her very well. We are studying introductory mindhealing, at the moment. I don't like it much. It's all very vague, isn't it? The weather is good. Quite warm. We're spending lots more time in the garden, of course.

I don't know what else one is supposed to write in letters. So I'll stop. But I thought it would be nice to write to you, when you're so far away from your family, because I understand what that's like. I do hope things are well, over there.
