E'sren ducks into the booth and sits down, stares at the camera for a long moment with his eyes blank and his mouth agape.

"Shit."

And then he starts talking, making lots of hand gestures to accent certain points.

"So Quinlys tells us we're going camping in Southern to bond and find some food to bring back for the Weyr. I'm thinking great, spend some time with the old crew, hang out, maybe sneak away with Sabella..."

Here he pauses mid-shrug, just a thought. And goes on.

"And it's all fine and dandy, we get there, it's hot. Like really hot. Seriously, sweat everywhere. And I do mean everywhere."

Another pause, lifted eyebrows at the camera.

"We pass some time, la-dee-da, we have some fun. And then it happens."

He pulls a face, stares off into the distant lands of his memory and cringes again.

"I mean I thought I'd seen it all. Or at least enough. But I can't... unsee. That. First off, how did she... and then he-"

Cut to a moment where he makes some different kinds of hand gestures, like he's trying to articulate something... disturbing. He furrows his brow at them, trying to unravel their mystery, and thus unravel what happened.

Cut to the moment after.

"We've been referring to it as The Incident. Because we dare not speak its name."

Very serious face. Then suddenly he narrows his eyes and looks sharply off to one side, to some point off-camera.

"Is it raining?"
