| It's been nearly a full turn since High Reaches riders started aiding Boll on a pay-per-use basis; by all accounts, the deal has been a lucrative one for the northern Weyr. It's a surprise, then, when, without warning, those duties are suddenly cancelled, early in the eleventh month. Did the deal go sour? Is Boll going back to Fort Weyr? And why, if either of these things is true, does K'del seem perfectly pleased with the situation? |
