Morning After Egg
The Morning After Egg isn't going to do any of that undignified hopping or rocking business. No, it's simply going to crack down the middle as if tapped on the side of a bowl - or whacked from within by a strong and impatient dragonet. Two forelegs thrust out in unison, followed closely by a brown head and shoulders. A good strong shake and the brown dragonet emerges with deliberate steps, head held high to survey his new world.
Prissy Preening Brown
There is a prim sort of smugness in this blocky brown dragon's eyes, as if the turquoise whirlpools of his facets engulfed a pair of Cheshire felines when nobody was looking. Too content by far, he tends to lounge around and observe goings-on with his usual sly smile, long tail flicking casually this way and that to test the breeze and add mischief to all occurrences near him. That strong, broad body seems almost a mismatch for his color, with powerful shoulders and haunches for more endurance and strength than most dragons his size. Compact limbs offer good launching leverage and little air resistance, quick to move to his will. Blunt but broad wings, spreading wide to sweep great expanses of air out of his path, may not be the best for agile maneuvers, but they hint of patience and endurance. His neck isn't terribly long, but his head is always held high like a satisfied Lord Holder's son's, surveying his surroundings loftily. Smooth, curving headknobs and ridges are neither delicate nor rough, and so compliment the quiet square shape of his head and the slight bluntness of his muzzle. Though on the chunky, built side even for a brown, he has the comfortable proportions to be considered good to look upon by most. A collage of different shades and hues of brown streak over the thin muscles of this dragonet's body, refining to a darker hood along the top of his neck and head. A thin streak of creamy-silver slides down from between the large, swirling eyes to pool along the tip of the wedge-shaped snout. Two blazing ribbons of russet glide around his neck gently, joining together along mid-torso to form an 'apron' of subtle mahogany and diminishing sunset. His forearms are slight and somewhat more elongated than usual, tipped with viciously sharp onyx claws that struggle to keep his body upright. The rear legs, cloaked in clinging tendrils of klah brown, shiver visibly as new weight is supported on them. A slithering taper, colored like a mixture of firestone ash and fall foliage, snakes around the rather short tail like a maypole, flaring to a beautiful shade of pink at the end of the spaded tail. Flapping excitedly, the stretched membranes of his damp wings reveal a warm reunion of shimmering dark-gold and deep tan.
Public Impression Message
The Prissy Preening Brown narrowly avoids a collision with an overly excited green racing across the Sands by sidestepping his clutchsib. He's not quite balanced when he does this, however, and loses his balance, falling right in front of one of the Candidates, a Seacraft lad. The dragonet looks up into the boy's eyes and suddenly croons delightedly as he awkwardly tries to wrap his tail around his choice.
