Pinnate Blue-Green Egg
In the middling range of small, this egg is still quite distinctive amongst its siblings. Its surface is a rough blue-green, reminiscent of a forest's color at dusk. A spreading network of narrow jagged lines cuts across the egg like the web of a maddened gossamer spinner. The veins themselves are a pale grey that inscribe arrowing patterns over the shell's surface. Near the smooth edges of the veins, the egg's color is almost imperceptibly lighter; farther from the lines, it darkens and becomes a deeper hue
Pinnate Blue-Green Egg splits open to reveal a Timid Kelly Green Dragonet who seems rather reluctant to leave the pile of shards around her.
Timid Kelly Green
As the shards break and fall away around her, this green dragonet seems reluctant to stand up or move away from them. She blinks as she turns her head uncertainly to look all around. Her whirling eyes are almost the exact same yellow green color as her hide, which is more yellow on her body and gradually becomes darker green on her wing tips and tail. She is unusually quiet as she slowly struggles up to her feet, very unsteady without the aid of the wings she keeps held close to her large but not ungainly body. Finally, she lets out a very quiet creel, as loneliness and hunger overwhelm her, and she hesitantly looks around shyly at the candidates.
