Type: Update
What: Ali's Isyath rises at Southern Weyr, Elise is transferred to Southern as well.
When: Day 14, Month 7, Turn 36 (Interval 10)
Mid month 7 saw Ali's gold Isyath finally take to the skies and secure her rider's position as Southern Weyr's Weyrwoman. It can't have been a coincidence that there were a handful of Fortian bronzes and browns involved in the chase - more than one of whom ended the chase marked up - though whether Fort's Weyrleaders encouraged or sanctioned their involvement is unknown. Isyath has never been consistent in her choice of mate, and this was proved again when a native Southern bronze, Giamith, managed to secure her as his. The new Weyrleader, S'dellan, is only a few turns older than Ali, and has been noted to be vocal about his beliefs about Weyrleadership. Weyr/leader/. It's in the title, isn't it? Weyrwoman? Glorified homemaker. Only a day after the flight, Fort found itself without one of its goldriders, Elise and her gold Aedrielth quietly transferred to Southern to continue her training as a junior weyrwoman. Some say that she was sent /with/ her junior knot, while others say that it will be given by Southern's new Senior. Fort's Weyrleaders have yet to comment about whether the transfer is temporary or otherwise, but the one thing that rumour seems to agree on is that Elise may well do better with a fresh start, away from Fort Hold. And as for those who comment on both Southern Senior and new junior being of Fortian blood, well...
