Cases of plague are on the rise at High Reaches Weyr\, though most can be counted from the self-proclaimed 'plague wing' and the healers and resident volunteers who care for the ill.

There are notable exceptions\, of course-- for one\, there's the half of Equinox wing who decided to share a cask of beer\, shared glasses\, and then ended up in the infirmary. Cases like this have been resoundingly decried-- all of High Reaches has been reminded that quarantine exists for a reason\, and all possible measures should be taken to avoid spreading the disease any further.

The Weyr's sick\, although initially kept in their own private quarters where possible\, have now taken over the infirmary\, and into the dragon infirmary. Only craft-sanctioned healers and their trained - admittedly\, often hastily trained - assistants are permitted within.

The situation is not dire\, but inevitably\, deaths are on the rise. Everyone is expected to spend as little time in public places as possible; everyone is expected to practice vigilance.
