| Late in the evening of the first day of month 9, after more than a full day of labor, Isobel of Fort Hold bore Lord Esraval a son. Though it was generally known about the hold that she'd gone into labor, the birth announcement was delayed by days, and there was a great deal of coming and going of healers: apparently things were touch and go for a while, for one or both. But finally, a full sevenday later, Isobel and Esraval formally presented their son to the hold: Traivon, named in honor of Esraval's father Laivon and Isobel's brother At're. |
