Green Splotched Egg
Dark green splotched with purest silver. As your eyes trace the curve from blunt point to sand-swathed end, an image comes to mind of morning fog threading through pine trees. The egg shivers slightly, flashing light into your eyes as bright as the sun off damp pine needles.
Although the determined effort of its occupant has riddled the shell of this egg with cracks, it doesn't break apart dramatically, as most of the eggs have: rather pieces of the shell slowly fall away, exposing a Timid Teak Brown dragonet, who looks rather alarmed to find his well-known egg abandoning him.
Timid Teak Brown
Once finally free of his shards, this large brown looks as though he wishes he could climb right back into his shell, to be away from the crowd and all the attention. He has a hide the color of teak: silky smooth and rich looking. The contrast between his coloring and the bright white of the hatching sands only makes him stand out more. After turning to his mother, he receives an encouraging warble that gives him the resolve to gingerly step away from his shards. He approaches the candidates tentatively, keeping a distance from them, and still looking as though he might dart back into his shards at any moment.
