Shimmering Dewdrop Egg
A tiny jewel goes almost unnoticed among the larger eggs surrounding it. Pale splashes of pastel colours, pink, yellow, blue, green and coral shimmer on the surface of this pearly white egg. The flaccid shell seems almost liquid, glistening in the dim lights of the hatching cavern. It rests lightly on top of the sand, hardly leaving a depression.
The Shimmering Dewdrop Egg cracks at the top to expose a small green muzzle. With a sharp and ringing creel, she breaks her body free from the rest of the egg, which flies apart scattering shards everywhere.
Elegant Sea Green
The shimmering green hide of this dragonet brings to mind summer afternoons over deep water. Shades of liquid green and blue dapple her hide, suggesting fathomless depths. Highlighted with yellow and pale colours her joints glint like sunlight on waves. This lithe green holds herself with a stately air that belies her tender age. She has an elongated neck and tail that give her a sinuous appearance. Her features are somewhat angular; she has a pointed snout and sharp-looking wing joints.
