Slight to the point of frailty, she's a moonlit aqumarine, the hue dappling her paper-thin hide from elongated muzzle to the short, fragile curl of her tail, like overlapping water spots from some slow rain. Her wingsails are finer yet, pale as starshine and all but transparent where bright diamond sparks scatter across their span; her claws are soft sickle curves of silver. Even so, the narrow dragon's not skeletal but smooth across her meager frame; her wide-set gaze, far more vibrantly hued and honed than the rest of her, is as intelligent and interrogative as it is perceptive.

Outlive a Lie Egg
This pale egg is only perfectly smooth at its very top, where a halo of white winds before developing into the light blue of a summer morning sky, gauzy to the touch. The latter shade falls with the delicate grace of draped fabric, waves large at first, then smaller and dotted with glimmering flecks in jewel tones of sapphire and aquamarine that could easily be sequins or stars, or both. Again, the blue darkens to an icy sapphire as it forms delicate, scalloped panels around the base of the shell, flow defined by gentle, watery shadows that glimmer like sunlight over a clear lake, brought to life by what look like tiny diamonds.
Outlive a Lie Egg has gone still long enough that it may be a surprise when there is one more sudden rock, the dragon within throwing itself forcefully against its shell. And that shell slides away to reveal a grey-tinged, aquamarine green hatchling. It is as she has spent all of her energy to free herself, only the barest stirrings of her wings and a sickly mewl, quiet enough to be lost in the sounds of the rest of the caverns, escaping to let all know that she is there.
Stars and Moons Green Hatchling
Slight to the point of frailty, she's a greyed aquamarine that might appear a silvery green if only she were in good health. The hue dapples her paper-thin hide from elongated muzzle to the short, fragile curl of her tail, like overlapping water spots from some slow rain.
Temperament
Yueth's mind is an endless universe of questions and ambitions, Kat, even exceeding your own. She may drive you crazy with them, especially the care and attention that she gives to each pursuit of knowledge. She won't be easily distracted, since anything she does not know is /important/ to know, and she wont easily forget, her intelligence and memory rivaling even a queen. It will be easy to think that your dragon is humorless, with how serious she pursues her ambition for knowledge, for /more/, and there are certainly going to be other dragons who think so, but if you pay enough attention, you will note a wry underscore of humor to her. Especially when she thinks others are being stupid.
There is something sickly about Yueth from the moment she hatches, a weakness and frailty during her first few months of life that she will grow out of. Being around her siblings at first will make this worse, and she will need to be kept away from them to allow her to adjust. Despite needing to be kept away, she will want to reach out to them mentally, to be involved there where she cant physically. This separation will have the possibility of forever changing her, depending how you respond, Kat. She may either always seek contact with others, to make up for those few months, or shy away from being physically touched. Despite this weakness, during these first few months and as weyrlinghood draws on, she will grasp concepts quicker than her siblings.
When it comes time to finally fly, you may wander if she will ever come down. She will take to it like a fish to water, except unlike a fish, she will consider every possible tilt of her wings, every thermal and draft. Every analytical thought will be shared, if you let her, and she will even direct you into what you could do better to enhance the experience. The times that you are not there, though? Those are the times she tries to reach /up/, and though she will never make it to the stars, there will be times that you may again worry as she reaches atmosphere that is too thin even for a dragon to fly in.
Yueth will always fly better in a wing where the wingleader has earned her, and your, loyalty. Otherwise, she is likely to only put in the minimal requirements for drills and sweeps, and conserve her energy and curiosity for outside of duties. If your wingleader has earned your loyalty, though? Then she will push herself for the wing, obey every command, be willing to throw herself in front of Thread for them if Thread were still falling, of course. This does not mean that she won't have ambition of her own; she will have plenty of that. With her intelligence and ambition, it is likely that she will drive you to want the same. Think how well the pair of you would do as wingleaders, Kat. It will be too bad, really, if you'd rather remain a wingrider for the rest of your life, because your Yueth would make at least an excellent half of a wingleading pair, firm and patient and knowledgeable with the dragons under her command.
Flight will be dangerous for your dragon and for her chasers if you do not learn to reign her in, Kat. Yueth will have a tendency to try to fly too high and too long and tire herself out. The dragons who encourage her, who have a soft, romantic side are those that are likely to catch her interest. Once she is caught, however? Her loyalty will always be given to her mate between flights, even if she finds herself with growing attraction to another dragon. She may not remember exactly the flight, but through your memories, she will insist that she must remain loyal, that it is her duty. This will not always mean that he will catch her again the next time she rises, but she is a green that is likely to be caught by one steady mate.
Your Yueth will never be fully of this world, Kat. It is as if she were placed here to observe, to collect, to /learn/, but she will always belong on another plane, to the moons and stars and skies and to her own inner spirit. With your care and guidance, she will remain here as long as you need her. Your love is the only thing that will ever ground her and her love for you will be transcendent, if you let it.
Public Impression Message
Stars And Moons Green never stirs from her egg, but the soft, sickly mewling sounds at least end as her whirling gaze meets the dark green eyes of a young, ash-blond woman. The young woman suddenly looks as if she may be ill, but the Impression is made.
Private Impression Message
You know all of those stories about Impression being the best moment of your life? It is hard to imagine that, where a sudden wave of weakness and fever rushes over you. All of those fears about being sick on the Sands become horribly, utterly true. It is almost enough to make you want to lose your stomach contents on the Sands, as the sickness spreads within you, and no one would blame you. But then, it is soon joined by the pale rays of moonlight and expanding stars. And it seems as if that sickly green sitting in her shell is the point of it all as her gaze locks with yours and she beckons, « Katriona. Kat. Why? » And that single question holds all of the mysteries of the universe, waiting to be answered, everything that your Yueth wants to know from the moment of her birth.
Mindvoice
Moonlight and stars and the ever-expanding universe are all encompassed within Yueth's mindvoice, of course. As one would expect, her voice feels heavy, as if the weight of the world is held there. There is also underlying clockwork to her mindvoice, the wheels forever running as she forever analyzes. The actual tone of it is bright and feminine when she speaks, a lovely soprano.
Dragon Inspirations
Your dragons inspiration comes from two strikingly similar characters from two of your interests: Yue from The Last Airbender and TaliZorah from Mass Effect. From both, she has inherited the otherworld-y parts of her personality, the interest in stars and the sky. Both of these characters also gave the inspiration for the sickliness as a hatchling, given Yue's mysterious illness as a baby and Tali's immune system. From Tali, she has inherited her curiosity and loyalty, while Yue has given her romance in flight (and her name).
Egg Inspiration: The development of Glinda's dress from Shiz schoolgirl to Glinda 'the Good' from the musical 'Wicked'.
Name Meaning
Yueth (Yu-eh-th) pulls her name from the current spirit of the moon in the Last Airbender. Someone who was not only given life by the moon and stars, but also gave her life in return and transcended her place. As requested, it is short to counterpoint Kat's, and also lyrical.
