| News from Telgar arrives early in month 12, announcing that Iskiveth's clutch has arrived on the sands and contains a healthy fourteen eggs... including a gold. While Telgar is undoubtedly thrilled about the news, it is certainly an interesting development for High Reaches: would she have clutched that queen if she'd still been at High Reaches? What would High Reaches have done with FIVE queens, in an Interval? And since the deal was for one queen, does Telgar now owe High Reaches a queen in return? Will the poor girl who Impresses that queen be sent back to High Reaches immediately? For now, no one knows. |
