| It's early in the eleventh month when word begins to spread of a request from Telgar Weyr. The plains weyr is down to one queen; they'd like one of High Reaches' to replace Iovniath-- never mind that, ten turns ago, Telgar kicked out /that/ pair, then barely out of weyrlinghood. About the weyr, the topic is heavily discussed: will Tiriana try and get rid of Iolene and Ysavaeth? Will Iskiveth's clutch be laid on Telgar sands? Will Lujayn be sent away from High Reaches for a second time? What does Tiriana /really/ think about being asked to help the weyr that once kicked her out? But on the 10th of the month, an announcement will finally and officially be made: Teris and Iskiveth are the chosen ones, their transfer to Telgar to be effective immediately. As for Iskiveth's clutch? Nothing public's been specified about /that/... |
