She had walked into Lady Tevrane's formal audience with all the knowledge, evidence, and charm she could muster. Had done the "right thing". In the end though... like so many other things, it simply didn't matter. What was the point of it if no action was taken? She was powerless and without influence.

Oh well. Cron would fuck up eventually. Maybe it would take turns, maybe for a while someone else would pick up the slack for him. It didn't matter, it was only a matter of time.
