{{Dragon}}
A handsome beast despite what could be considered unnatural thinness, this bronze might be accurately described as rangy by polite company, but what they would really mean is bony. He's got a peculiar shape to him, and a peculiar movement besides, with the impression of a lean and tall sight hound. He's stygian, draped in handsome copper hues that dance beneath the black of rusted metal that tucks around his ribs and up into his dark belly. His hide is flecked with silver, nobly near his headknobs like a man greying early, visible in the most opaque points of his wingsails, and around the narrow length of his muzzle. The cut of his mouth and the length of his teeth are both cruel and unforgiving, and the prominence of his eyeridges make his big, faceted eyes seem as dark as the rest of him, hidden in shadows, like secrets.

He's got presence to be charming, but Besmernyth is duplicitous in a way that often must be kept in check, and ambitious in a way that is willing to step on heads to get to a goal. When he is charming, room should be made for caution. By his very nature he must be bound -- in this case, to X'vin -- but he is not particularly attached, and has never been needy or clingy, even from his youngest days. He is instead observant, putting his claws in everything, watching ''everything'': he observes from the Star Stones, he nestles in the inhospitable and unwanted areas of the weyr, and he supervises duties with X'vin when he must, but for the most part he acts as an independent entity, and ''is'' one, as far as he's concerned. He hides things -- secrets and objects alike -- away with extreme efficiency, and gathers knowledge where he can only for the sake of knowing it, and rarely for purposes that are unkind...though this shouldn't be mistaken as kindness on its own. Besmernyth generally ses the world in terms of capital: he cannot enjoy things for the sake of enjoying them; they must have a use for him to enjoy them. Besmernyth has admirable control when it comes to flights, and often restricts his chases to when greens he favors rise; he often chooses not to chase in gold flights unless, as indicated, he sees a ''use'' for it.

He is instead observant, putting his claws in everything, watching everything: he observes from the Star Stones, he nestles in the inhospitable and unwanted areas of the weyr, and he supervises duties with X'vin when he must, but for the most part he acts as an independent entity, and is one, as far as he's concerned. Besmernyth has admirable control when it comes to flights, and often restricts his chases to when greens he favors rise; he often chooses not to chase in gold flights unless, as indicated, he sees a use for it.
